This year St John's is very proud to be running our first Holiday Bible Club- Desert Detectives!
We are going to be going on a quest to find the Mighty God Sword..... do you have what it takes?
What is it?
Five mornings packed with fun- team challenges, drama, craft, games, stories, music and more!

St John’s Church Centre
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 5-11 (current years reception to year 6)
How much is it?
It’s £4 per day per child so £20 for the whole week!

What does a moring at Holiday Club look like?
Each morning we will gather together in our teams, these are groups of 6-8 children and they have a team leader who is with them all morning.
Once everyone has arrived we will bring them togther for Base Camp. This in when we watch our drama- where we follow the quest of three detectives trying to find the Might God Sword! Then we hear our story for the day, sing some songs and set the daily team challenge!
For the rest of the morning the teams move around three activites, each one helping them to explore the story of the day further. They will do crafts, games and team story time. During this time we also have snack break.
After which we gather back together at Base Camp to recap on the day. Here we sing more songs, have a joke of the day, bible memory verse and children can share what they have been doing with the other teams.
Then we all head home, rest up and get ready to continue the quest the next day!
