To celebrate the refurbishment achievement of our 140 year old William Hill Organ we held an On-line Organ Recital on the evening of the 14th April 2021.

The programme included the story of the evolution of this amazing instrument from its installation in 1881 to the present day. There followed by a Recital of an eclectic mix of organ music from Elgar, Bach, Franck and others. The music is presented and performed by Mr. Mark Shepherd MA, FRCO, ARCM – Director of Music at Charterhouse School.

To contribute to the cost of restoration we would ask you please to Sponsor a Pipe or more. It has cost £36,000 to restore the organ and we are currently short of some £9,600. The organ has 960 pipes, so £10 will obviously sponsor one pipe. If you are feeling generous, £20 would sponsor two pipes and £50 would sponsor 5 and so on.
