St. John’s Men’s Fellowship invites all members to join us for the next Breakfast meeting at the St. John’s Centre on Saturday 23rd March with breakfast served promptly at 8.30 am. The meeting will end around 10.30am.

A hearty breakfast is followed by a talk by Deborah Seabrook, former Guildford councillor, entitled "Pray for our politicians - they need it". Her story of being called to be a local councillor, the ins and outs of her experiences in the machinery of local government, and how her Christian principles were tested and stood her in good stead.

Deborah has wide expertise gained from a career in project and service management across the private, public and charity sectors. With significant experience of serving the community, Deborah was the founder trustee of a project for homeless teenagers and has raised thousands of pounds for charity. As an active member of the church, she has served on the church council and supports families with additional needs. Deborah and her husband have lived in Merrow for over 35 years.
