At the end of May, St John's Men's Fellowship had a most enjoyable excursion to the capital to visit Southwark Cathedral. Arriving at London Bridge in glorious sunshine we first went into Borough Market for coffee, then enjoyed a most informative guided tour of the cathedral, a magnificent building with a very rich history. 

We then crossed Borough High Street to look around The News Building, home of media titles including The Times, Virgin Radio and HarperCollins Publishers. As well as seeing a live radio studio, we enjoyed wonderful views of the city from the roof terrace. All arranged by our own Mr. Joe Bullock.

As ever, no Men's Fellowship excursion would be complete without a pub lunch. We transferred to the West End and enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Admiralty Pub, Trafalgar Square, unexpectedly finding ourselves in our own private dining room.

So, with private dining and high-rise views of London, Men's Fellowship are definitely going up in the world.
