Baby Basics Guildford

Baby Basics UK was founded in 2009 with the aim of providing some of the basics needed for life for vulnerable famillies with a newborn. Baby Basics Guildford arrived in 2020 working with midwifes, health visitors and other local organisations to provide starter packs for those in need. We help vulnerable groups such as teenage mums, families on low income, and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. Our Moses baskets provide a safer place to sleep and are packed full of toiletries such as nappies wipes and maternity pads, as well as blankets, towels and baby clothes. How you can help!

Donations of items

We've already helped lots of famalies and continue to accept donations! A list of items that we accept (and can't accept) is listed below or you can view our Amazon Wish List (where you can send to us direct) here. Donations can be left at the back of the Church whenever the Church is open (usually every day from 9.30am to 5pm)

Volunteer

We're always looking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways from washing and packing to knitting - there is a role for everyone! If you are interested in volunteering in any way please email babybasics@saintjohns.org.uk.

As we sit within the structures of St. Johns Church all our finances are part of their structures however all money donated to the workl of Baby Basics Guildford is held in a restricted fund to ensure that all your money goes to helping Baby Basics Guildford serve the newborns and families of guildford to the best of our ability. Thank you so much for your support.
