‘The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it’ (John 1:5)
There is no doubt that this Christmas is different. We are living in strange times, when it’s easy to feel surrounded by darkness. Yet, nothing can take away the miracle of the birth of Jesus, and the hope He brings to the world.
This year, St John’s are trying to bring some light into your lives with our glowing nativity scene and three kings outside our beautiful church. Every evening, as the light fades, our stained glass windows are lit up to reveal their beauty to passers-by.
Remember that darkness only comes about when light is absent and even a single lit-up window can bring light into our lives.
