    St John's is open daily throughout the year.

    Rev. Rona has Thursdays as her Day Off - urgent messages may be delivered via the Parish Office.

    We are delighted to welcome Natasha Quinn-Thomas to St. John's.  Natasha is an Ordinand of the Church in Wales and will be with in Merrow Sunday to Tuesday every week, until Summer 2019.

    NOVEMBER

    St. John's CHRISTMAS BAZAAR - this Saturday 17th November at 2-4pm. Entrance by donation - enjoy the numerous stalls, raffle, Christmas Cards, quality decorations, tombolas, refreshments and mulled wine. (Profits go to Church Mission society and St. John's Church). Come and join the fun!

    War Memorial Restoration - our grateful thanks on behalf of the community of Merrow must go to Merrow Residents Association for raising over £500 towards the cost of the recent work on the War Memorial. The other £500 has been donated by St. John's PCC.

    Merrow Community Gospel Choir - every Monday 5 - 6pm in St. John's Centre. Emily Bollon has established her ‘Motivation by Music’ Gospel Choir in St John’s to help to bring together a group of people to form the Merrow Community Gospel Choir. (Please click here for more details). Cost £5/person/session, £7 for two family members, £3 for students. We hope you can join us!

    Christmas Choir - anyone who would like to join the Choir for Christmas, please do come to Choir Practice on any Friday evening at 6.30pm in Church.

    RED Wednesday - Wednesday 28th November - we will have red filters on our flood lights to join in the CSW "light up red" (colour of martyrdom) initiative, to encourage people to pray, support and take action for those who aren’t free to believe.

    Sunday 2nd December - ADVENT SUNDAY inc. Christingle Service at 4pm followed by a Children's Tea in the Centre. This is the 50th Anniversary of the Christingle Service.

    Saturday 15th December at 4pm - Carols on the Green at Bushy Hill Centre

    Sunday 16th December at 6.30pm - Carols by Candlelight in Church

    Saturday 22nd December at 7.30 - 9pm - Concert by the Merrow Community Gospel Choir in St. John's Centre

    Sunday 23rd at 4pm - CRIB SERVICE for all ages

    Monday 24th December at 11.30pm - MIDNIGHT MASS

    Tuesday 25th December CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICES at 8am and 10am 

    Other News

    Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in September 2019 - Rev. Rona has organised a Pilgrimage to Galilee, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. An informative DVD is available - please ask at the Parish Office.
