2018 Remembrance Service

This year we have a special form of remembering on the 11th day of the 11th month at 11am when we remember that 100 years ago, the guns fell silent in the 1st World War. At St John’s we have taken our role of Guardian of Merrow Village War Memorial seriously and we have had the stone memorial cleaned and renovated, stationed a Silent Tommy outside the Church, and we hosted the Village Act of Remembrance starting at 10.45 on Sunday 11th November.
